Our bodies need sufficient amounts of water in order to adequately perform numerous vital functions. However, even less than one in five people drinks enough water.

Sarah Smith is 42 years old and is a mother of two children. She is from UK. She acknowledged that she is one of those that aren’t drinking the recommended dose of 2-3 liters per day. She had slower and bad indigestion and consecutive headaches. She consulted with medical experts and they gave her the same advices-she needed to increase the intake of water. Sarah started to document and photographed herself in the experiment where she will drink 3 liters, just over 5 pints of water per day, every single day for one month in order to notice if there are any benefits.
She divided the amount of water she planned to consume in a big jug of water in the morning, another jug of water in the afternoon and the last one in the evening.
At the beginning of her experiment, Sarah looked at her face and noted “I am 42, but have to admit I look more like 52 in this picture, which is shocking.
There are dark shadows under and around my eyes, which make me look exhausted, a profusion of wrinkles and strange reddish blotches, and my skin lacks any lustre. It looks dead….even my lips look shrivelled.”
- At the end of the FIRST WEEK she stated that her digestive system function was improved and her urine was noticeable clearer because the water cleansed her kidneys that were dehydrated. Her skin looked improved because the toxins from the body were removed. Her headaches were gone and her ankle inflexibility in the morning after waking up was bettered. The water is crucial for lubricating the joints.
- In the SECOND WEEK she noticed that her skin’s tone improved and her general appearing. Her eyes were still folded but they are not as creepy and shadowy as before. Now her belly is flatter and her cellulite gone. What’s more important is that she had another week without headache.
- On the THIRD WEEK Sarah was very happy when she noticed that her eyes weren’t folded anymore, the dark circles were gone and her skin was shinier and better looking. Now she was eating less than before. She has been caught by the usual trap where she was reading the signals from the stomach as hunger jabs, which in fact were thirst jabs. According to research 73% of people are mistaking thirst signals for hunger signals. But with the amount of water that she consumed, there weren’t any such mistakes.
- At the end of the FOURTH WEEK Sarah noted: “I simply can’t believe the difference in my face. I’m completely different women now. The dark shadows around my eyes and the tarnishes are now gone. My skin is wet as it was when I was a child. The transformation for this period of time is astonishing.”
At the end of her experiment, Sarah was much fitter, leaner and more beautiful. Furthermore, she was more energetic and happier than ever before. All these benefits were obtained due to a single change in her lifestyle- she started drinking lots of water!
